As the lyrics of a songs says, "People make the world go around," and this is our focus on individuals who made a significant contribution to our local history whether or not they reached general acclaim for their deeds. They may have been owners of a neighborhood grocery store, repair garage, or another type of small business. They may have been outstanding businessmen, social leaders, politicians, ministers, etc. Each played a role worthy of remembering here. Note: The largest collection of biographies are located in Heritage/Writings/People.
