THOMAS B. DONNELLEY by George P. Cobb. _______
Thomas B. Donnelly died at his residence in Bay City, December 26, 1903. He had resided in Bay City for 37 years. He was a native of Ireland, but came to this country at a very early age. For many years he lived in Antwerp, N. Y., and there learned the trade of tailor. In 1866 he came to Bay City and was employed as a cutter in the tailoring establishment ofS. V. Wilkin for many years. As his acquaintance extended he also became interested in real estate, both on his own account and as agent for others. About 1880 he opened a merchant tailoring establishment and conducted it himself until 1903, almost up the time of his death. He was never especially active in politics and never a candidate for office, but took considerable interest in municipal affairs. Some 25 or 30 years ago he marriedMiss Lilian Keith, of Bay City, who survives him. Three children, two sons and a daughter, also survive. He was a loyal member of the Catholic church and his funeral was held at St. James' church.
